ATTENDANTS’ PASSES WILL BE ISSUED AT THE RATE OF: INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL AGENTS, TWO FREE PASSES PER COMPANY.

ALL COMPETITORS AND EXHIBITORS MUST PAY GATE ENTRANCE FEE Membership tickets and other information may be obtained on application to the Secretary.

Members: Members failing to have members’ tickets are requested to pay entrance fee at gate and come to office for members’ ticket on receipt of full subscription.

Gate entrance will be refunded.

ACCEPTANCE OF ENTRIES: The attention of intending exhibitors is drawn to the fact that entries are accepted subject to the Rules of the Queensland Chamber of Agricultural Societies and to the Constitution and Rules of this Society/Association in addition to any Special Regulations which appear within this schedule.

INSTRUCTIONS TO STEWARDS: 1.

Stewards will be in attendance at the Showground at the hour appointed by the Committee to receive exhibits. 2.

Stewards are responsible that the exhibits are properly classed, and all exhibits in each class placed together for judging. 3.

Stewards will obtain award cards and/or books from the Secretary, enter all exhibits and deliver same to the judges and direct judges to the exhibits they are appointed to judge. 4.

Stewards will attend on the judges to afford any information required, but will not know, say or do anything to influence their decision.

They must not reveal the name of any exhibitor, or repeat any remark the judges may make to each other. 5.

The Stewards will remove all persons from the judging area, excluding those required for judging of exhibits, while judging takes place. 6.

Stewards will obtain award cards from the judges when filled up and signed and deliver same to the Secretary.

They will complete prize cards and attach same to exhibits. 6 83926 Goondi Show 2013.indd 6 21/01/13 7:24 AM GOONDIWINDI & DISTRICT PASTORAL AND AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY REGULATIONS PATRONS AND EXHIBITORS ARE REQUESTED TO READ THESE CONDITIONS CAREFULLY.

HORSE SECTION TO BE READ AND WILL BE CONDUCTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH CHAMBER OF AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY RULES. 1.

Patrons enter the Goondiwindi Showgrounds at their own risk. 2.

Children must be supervised at all times and are the sole responsibility of their parent or guardian. 3.

Patrons are to be aware of the danger of all animals, vehicles & machinery. 4.

In the interest of safety and the wellbeing of livestock and spectators alike, visitors are asked to keep clear of livestock and areas where livestock congregate. 5.

Unaccompanied children and spectators must not go into the arena or livestock working areas. 6.

No glass bottles are permitted to be brought onto the ground. 7.

Any person injured on the showgrounds who is not a financial member of the Q.A.S.

Will be soley responsible for all costs arising from Ambulance vehicle transport. 8.

All competitors pay gate entrance fee. 9.

Entries must be made on forms supplied by the Society. 10.

It is essential for the smooth running of the show, that entries for all sections be lodged, with entry fee, with the Secretary, on or before the dates as shown at the heading of the respective sections. 11.

Exhibits in all classes must be the bona fide property of the Exhibitor. 12.

Entries must be accompanied by the entrance fee as specified in the Schedule, otherwise they will not be accepted. 13.

No person will be allowed in the vicinity of the Judge during judging, other than the Stewards and Attendants actually in charge of stock, and no person will be allowed to communicate with Judges other than through a Steward. 14.

On receipt of entries the Stewards will issue Exhibit Tickets which must be the only sign of ownership attached to any exhibit, and such ticket shall accompany exhibits.

Exhibits tickets for livestock exhibits may be held by the Stewards at their discretion and issued when exhibits are being penned. 15.

No person shall act as a Judge except in classes in which he himself is not an exhibitor. 16.

Judges may withhold prizes and Championship honours if they think it expedient. 17.

The decision of Judges shall be final. 18.

The Committee reserves the right to withhold or modify any prize or prizes should there be three or less individual competitors in any class or event. 19.

Prize ribbons and tickets shall be affixed to exhibits as soon as the Judges have made their awards. 20.
