Undertaken by Wendy Campbell, the walk started at Willunga on April 14th 2009 and was completed on 23rd at Kapunda.
Accompanied occasionally by a cyclist, a horse (who shared lots of riders) and many walking friends, this was a wonderful achievement.
Donations are still being accepted to assist the relocation of Blackwood RDA to their new site at O’Halloran Hill.

Kidman Trail Virtual Walk: In a workplace health and fitness initiative, staff from the Department for Health and Aging has commenced calculating how many pedometer kilometers have been clocked up while walking at work.
Participants then plot their progress along a map of the Kidman Trail.
The first five to “finish” the trail will be awarded a Kidman Trail badge from Horse SA.
Is your work place willing to take up the challenge? Cycle Four Bicycle SA members, who can be described as retired gentlemen, with an average age of 67 years (with the oldest being 73) recently peddled, pushed and rode their way along the length of the Kidman Trail.
The trip took 5 days from 30th March to 3rd April 2009, starting from Willunga to finish at Kapunda camping along the way.
They described it as a “a good challenge perhaps more so than the Mawson Trail, in part due to the fact that back up vehicles are needed as carrying panniers on the bike is too hard unless extremely fit.” The trail travellers were Bob Peters, Paul Ferret, Bob Ritter and Denis Brown.
