Any exhibitor receiving $600.00 or more in monetary awards will be required to provide the Indiana State Fair with a completed IRS Form W-9 (W-8BEN for foreign exhibitors) providing a taxpayer identification number.
Failure to provide this information will result in the forfeiture of all premium monies.
Forms may be picked up at the Barn Office and the Entry Department in the Communications Building or on the IRS website at www.irs.gov. Draft Horse • Dept. 101 A Broodmare is defined as a mare which has nursed a foal for at least 30 days in the given calendar year.
A Yeld mare is defined as a mare which did not produce a foal or did not nurse a foal for 30 days in the given calendar year.
A mare which was the donor of an embryo is to be shown in either her correct age class or the Yeld mare class.
This mare and her embryo transfer foal may be shown in the mare and foal class. Section BL – Belgians TERMS AND CONDITIONS for Belgians Belgians will be permitted to arrive AFTER 5 pm on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 14 and must be stalled by Noon on Thursday, August 15.

The entry of stallions and mares under one year of age must carry the name of the animal, date of foaling and name and number of sire and dam.
Exhibitors will be expected to furnish copies of registration papers (front and back) verifying ownership upon request of the horse show committee.
Exhibitors making entries under two names must be able to prove joint ownership of horses by furnishing a copy of the registration paper showing joint ownership if asked to do so by the horse show committee.
Halter entries MUST be made in the same exact entity as the animal is owned on its registration certificate.
Example: If the registration certificate shows ownership as John Doe the entry must be submitted in that entity.
The entry cannot be made as John Doe and John Smith or J & S Farms.
