Shadybrook School (District 43) in the Winter of 1960, looking southeast.

The building is the 3rd schoolhouse for that district.

The 2nd one stood a few feet away from where Fred Bulmann’s shop is located, but it burned down.

The first schoolhouse was located near or at Shadybrook Cemetery.

Present owner 16826 (1995) of renovated schoolhouse/residence is Fred Bulmann.
