Any horse that qualifies will not be eligible to compete in Novice classes from 1st January the following year but horses that qualified for HOYS as a 4 year old are exempt. Class 12 Small Hunter Class Mare or gelding 4 years or over, exceeding 148cms but not to exceed 158cms.
Riders to have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January in the current year. Class 13 Lightweight Hunter Class Sponsored by: Mare or gelding 4 years or over, capable of carrying up to 12.7 stone. Riders to have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January in the current year. Class 14 Middleweight Hunter Class Mare or gelding, 4years old and over, capable of carrying 12.7 stone but not 14 stone.
Riders to have attained 16th birthday by 1st January in the current year. Class 15 Heavyweight Hunter Class Mare or gelding 4 years and over and capable of carrying over 14 stone.
Riders to have attained their 16th birthday by 1st January in the current year. Class 16 Amateur Ridden Hunter – Lightweight Class Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over, capable of carrying 12.7 stone and under.
Small Hunters to be included in this category. Class 17 Amateur Ridden Hunter – Heavyweight Class Mare or Gelding, 4 years old or over, capable of carrying over 12.7 stone. Middleweight Hunters to be included in this category. Championship: The Horses placed first and second in Classes 12 – 15 are eligible to go forward to the championship.
