VICTORIAN BRANCH CONDITIONS OF ENTRY GIPPSLAND PROMOTIONAL FOAL & GELDING SHOW 1.
All exhibits must be registered with the Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc, and in the name of a current financial member. 2.
All exhibitors / handlers must be a current financial member 3.
All exhibitors / handlers must be in control of their pony at all times one pony one handler except in the child handler, ridden and harness classes 4.
Copies of both sides of relevant registration papers and foal recordings to be sent with entries. 5.
All handlers must be suitably attired in the ring. 6.
Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc.
Will not accept liability for any accident, damage, injury or loss of ponies, competitors or spectators or any of their belongings or any other person or property whatsoever. 7.
All protests must be lodged with the committee within 15 minutes of the completion of the class, together with a $50.00 fee.
This will be reimbursed if the protest is upheld.
The committee’s decision is final. 8.
All entire’s 2 years and over must be shown in a recognised bridle and bit and handled by a competent Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc member 18 years and over. 9.
All colts under 2 years must be handled by an Australian Miniature Pony Society Inc.
Member 18 years and over. 10.
Age of handler is at the day of the show.
Juniors must be members in their own right. 11.
No refunds will be given 12.
No Late entries will be accepted 13.
Ponies that have already been entered for the show and wish to entry another class on the day they may do so at double the entry 14.
All AMPS ponies may be measured on the day before competing; if ponies are measured over 87cm they will not be able to compete at show on the day.
These ponies are not eligible to entry into the Appendix classes on that day they must be officially measured and correctly registered Appendix and provide paperwork before they are eligible 15.
Members with ponies that show any indication of diseases eg Respiratory Infections will be asked to immediately remove their ponies from the grounds. 16.
Ribbon placing will be decided by show day 17.
Driven and Ridden Pony exhibits must be 3 years and over 18.
A competent Australian Miniature Pony Society member must LEAD all foals.
Foals may only accompany dams in the led classes 19.
Broodmares to have foal at foot. 20.
Approved Aus / NZ protective headgear must be worn at all times for exercising, ridden and harness classes. 21.
Any Pony who exhibits signs of injury, sickness or is being ill treated will be prohibited from showing. 22.
Photographs will be taken on Show day and maybe published in relevant media outlets as part of a record of the Show.
In signing the Entry Form, you are agreeing to the publication of said photos.
If you do not wish to have your Pony photographed, you must submit a letter, with your Entry Form to the Show secretary 23.
Appendix Ponies with current “Appendix” Registration Certificates will only be eligible to enter the Appendix classes after they have be measured on the day of the show 24.
Appendix and AMPS Classes CANNOT be combined together as per the rules of the constitution 25.
