Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday but must not have attained their 9th birthday before the 1st January in the current year.

To be shown in a snaffle bit.

The three highest placed ponies, owned by a NPS member, in each class goes forward to the final.

Qualification may go no lower than third place. NPS/Rosettes Direct Home Produced Ridden Championship – wear white arm bands.

Puttock (Northants) (not before 9.45am) Open to Stallions mares & geldings 4years old and over registered in the main body of their respective Breed Society stud book.

Riders any age except stallions (see Rule 23 of schedule).

The owner does not have to be a Member of NPS for the pony to enter this class but only ponies owned by NPS Qualifying or Life members can qualify for the final.

The three highest placed ponies, owned by a NPS member, in each class goes forward to the final.

Qualification may go no lower than third place.

Ponies must be shown in a snaffle bit.

A pony is not eligible to compete if before 1st January in the current year it has done any of the following: Won an Open M&M NPS affiliated mixed Ridden class; won a ridden class at Olympia, HOYS or RIHS qualifying round; qualified for HOYS or RIHS ridden classes; qualified for the M&M Novice or Intermediate Ridden final at the NPS Summer Championship Show; qualified for the ridden M&M Championship final at Olympia in previous years.

NB Ponies can compete as novices for 2 consecutive years provided they do not submit an entry to the final in the first year .If a pony qualifies for Horse of the Year Show or RIHS in its second year it is immediately de-noviced and cannot compete in the Picton final. Class 22 Open to stallions, mares and geldings four years old and over, registered in the main body of the Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland Breed Society stud book. Class 23 Open to stallions, mares and geldings four years old and over, registered in the main body of the Welsh A or B Breed Society stud book. Class 24 Open to stallions, mares and geldings four years old and over, registered in the main body of the Connemara or New Forest Breed Society stud book. Class 25 Open to stallions, mares and geldings four years old and over, registered in the main body of the Dales, Fell or Highland Breed Society stud book. Class 26 Open to stallions, mares and geldings four years old and over, registered in the main body of the Welsh C or D Breed Society stud book Class 27 Novice Ridden Championship. 1st & 2nd from classes 22-26 to compete.

Ponies registered in the stud books of Connemara, Highland, Fell, Dales New Forest and Welsh ‘C’ and ‘D’ stallion, mare or gelding 4 years old and over.

Stevenson (Kent) Class 30 THE NPS/The Minns MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND RIDDEN, SILVER MEDAL ROSETTE is offered by The National Pony society for the best registered pony in the Mountain & Moorland Open ridden Section.

To be run under NPS Rules as stated on page 3 of this schedule. 1st prizewinners from classes 28-29 to compete. — Class 50 BSPA RIHS Ponies not exceeding 153cms Traditional and Native Types (to be shown in their natural state) hogged cobs.

No spurs to be worn.

Judge will not ride.

Display required.

No leading reins permitted Class 51 BSPA RIHS Ridden Horses exceeding 153cms (Plaited).

Judge will ride Class 52 BSPA RIHS Ridden Horses exceeding 153cms Traditional and Native Types (to be shown in their natural state) hogged cobs.

Judge will ride Class 53 BSPA Ridden Championship. 1st & 2nd prizewinners from classes 49–52 to compete.

Champion & Reserve go forward to the Supreme Ridden Championship. WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF COLOUR 2013 CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATION CLASSES BSPA CLASSES ARE OPEN TO SKEWBALD & PIEBALD HORSES & PONIES ONLY.

These classes are affiliated to the British Skewbald & Piebald Association and are qualifiers for the World Championships of Colour National Championship Show 2013 to be held at The College Equestrian centre, Keysoe.

All classes to be judged within the rules and criteria of the BSPA (copies of the Rule Book and Membership/Horse registration/overstamping forms can be obtained from the show office 01354 638266 or downloaded from HYPERLINK “http://www.BSPAONLINE.COM” www.bspaonline.com).

All stallions 4yrs & over must be graded, licensed & registered with BSPA and in possession of a 2013 BSPA Stallion ID Card in order to compete.

Open to members and non-members.

In order to qualify all owners/handlers/riders must be members of the BSPA & all horses/ponies registered with the BSPA PRIOR to the show.

BSPA qualification cards must be produced in the ring and signed by the judge otherwise the qualification is invalid.

In all WCC ridden classes the judge may ride or request a display.

Qualification 1-3 in all classes, 1-4 for classes exceeding 12. Judge: Mrs.

MacDonald-Bassett (Beds) (to follow) Class 54 BSPA Open In-Hand Pony Youngstock Qualifier.

Skewbald & Piebald Ponies calculated to make 153cm and under at maturity, 1, 2 and 3 year olds any sex or type Class 55 BSPA Open In-Hand Youngstock Qualifier.

Skewbald & Piebald Horses calculated to exceed 153cm and over at maturity, 1, 2 and 3 year olds any sex or type Class 56 BSPA Open In-Hand Plaited Horses and Ponies Qualifier.

Skewbald & Piebald 4 years old and over, any type, height, colour or sex. Class 57 BSPA In-Hand Championship, 1st and 2nd prizewinners from classes 54-56 to compete.

Champion & Reserve go forward to Supreme In-Hand Championship Class 58 BSPA Ridden Skewbald & Piebald Plaited Horse/Pony 4 years and over any sex or height.

Judge will not ride. Class 59 BSPA Ridden Skewbald & Piebald Open Native Traditional/Vanner Cob any height or age.

Judge will not ride. Class 60 BSPA Ridden Championship, 1st and 2nd prizewinners from classes 58 & 59 to compete.

Champion & Reserve go forward to Supreme Ridden Championship THE TRADITIONAL GYPSY COB ASSOCIATION (GB) TGCA In-Hand and Ridden Classes These classes are qualifiers for the Traditional Gypsy Cob Association (TGCA) National Breed Championship Show (TOYS) which will be held at Keysoe EC, Bedfordshire, on 20th and 21st September 2013.

These classes are open to all traditional gypsy cobs.

You do not need to be a current member or to have your horse registered with the TGCA in order to take part in these classes.

Qualification will go to the top 3 youngstock, top 3 up to 14hh and top 3 over 14h, provided the exhibit meets the traditional gypsy cob breed standard (see stallion exception below). All exhibits must be registered (passports over-stamped) and owners and handlers be fully paid up members either prior to, or within 21 days of the show date.

Existing members must present their qualification card to the judge in the ring for signature.

Non members will receive a qualification slip from the judge and will need to join the TGCA and register their horse within the 21 day timeframe in order to validate this qualification.

All stallions (four years and over) must be licensed with the TGCA prior to the show and must display their TGCA stallion disc on their bridle when competing in order to qualify for TOYS.

Non licensed stallions may compete in the classes but are not eligible for qualification.

All stallions and colts (two years and over) must be bitted when in the ring.

Foals born in the current year are not permitted to be shown in TGCA classes, though they may be shown at TOYS.

Ridden Classes: Exhibits must be 4 years and over and comply with the above.

Additional TOYS qualification is awarded to the highest placed junior rider and the highest placed exhibitor eligible for the restricted category in the class (ie rider and exhibit NOT to have qualified for HOYS, RIHS, or been placed 1st to 3rd at any county level or in any TOYS Finals in the last 24 months).

Cards need to be signed for the categories. This Show is a Qualifier for the TGCA Ultimate Star Finals at TOYS The TGCA Quest for a Star Championship is open to the first and second placed from the TGCA qualification classes.

This Championship class is only open to current TGCA members (membership cards must be presented) and stallions must be already licensed with the TGCA and display their TGCA stallion disc on their bridle.

The Quest Champion and Reserve qualify for the Ultimate Star Championships at TOYS 2013. Judge: Mrs.
