Adding Classes on the day: Class cost when adding extra classes on the day will be $10.00 for Hack, $15 for Hunter and $20.00 for Jumpers (includes HST).

Post Entries: Entries received after closing date will be accepted at a cost of $15.00 per entry.

Stake Classes: Prize money will be split 60% for 1 place; 40% for second place.

Classes are identified as either Junior/Amateur or Open.

For Hunter and Jumper Classes Jr/Am Stake Classes do not contribute to the division High Point.

Open Stake Classes do qualify for High Point.

Division High Points: Ribbons & Embroidered Saddle Pad for every division of Hack, Hunters and Jumpers.

Riders must have competed in all division classes to be eligible for the division High Point (Jr/Am Stake classes do not count towards division High Point for Hunter & Jumper classes).

Ribbons: to 6 place in all classes.

Classes will be split or combined if entries warrant. th st   Warm Up Rounds Friday May 10, 2013 course open from 11:00am – 5:30pm  Warm Up rounds: Heights will start at cross rails.

Heights can be adjusted up and down throughout the day to accommodate riders’ time schedules as necessary.

For cross rails to 2’3” the track will be an open flowing modified hunter course.

For 2’6” and above two tracks will be offered with one being more hunter like and the other a jumper track set with combinations and a some technical lines.

A time limit of 2 minutes will be allowed for each round.

Three stop rule applies. Hack Classes Saturday May 11, 2013 starting at 8:30am         Hack classes will be judged in two separate rings.

Please note that the start time for each ring is different in order to reduce the number of horses warming up at the same time.

Senior Riders – 18 years and & older Junior Riders – 13 to 17 years.

Youth Riders – 12 years and under Novice Rider and Green Horse open to English and Western Riders.

Judged at walk and trot only.

Entries cannot cross enter with any other classes except for rails on the ground.

English or western tack may be used, snaffle and two reins is required.

Matched Pairs Stake Class – A fun class that is Open to all riders.

Horse and rider pairs will be judged on the uniformity of the riders dress, horses’ size and color and their ability to stay matched at walk, trot and canter.

To enter each rider will enter the class and pay the $10.00 class fee.

Bareback Equitation Stake Class – A fun class open to all Youth and Junior riders.

Riders will be judged same as a regular equitation class at walk, trot and canter.

Lead Line – Open to riders 6 yrs and under.

No entry fee, everyone gets a ribbon.

To be run during lunch break. Hunter Classes Saturday May 11, 2013 approximate start time 12:30pm  Hunter classes for cross rails and 2ft will be over the same course.

Two separate courses will be used for 2ft3 and above. Jumping Classes Sunday May 12, 2013 starting at 9:00am      Show will start with 3ft division and move up to 4ft.

Cross rails to 2ft9 will be run following the 4ft division.

Three Phase 3’0 Mini Medal.

Embroidered Cooler for champion, Saddle Pad for Reserve Champion.

Phase 1: Hunter Round (Saturday); Phase 2: Jumper Round (Sunday); Phase 3: Flat Work Test (Sunday) Jumper 1: One round competition against the clock.

Faults not converted to time.competitors with equality of penalties are placed in accordance with the time taken to complete the round.

No jump off.

Jumper 2: All clear rounds that are clear and within the time allowed/or have no faults, will continue on for immediate jump off.

Jumper Match the Clock: Riders with no faults or with ties are placed closest to optimum time.

Clear Round: All clear rounds will receive a clear round ribbon.  English Hack Classes: Saturday May 11, 2013 Hack Division Categories Include: Senior Rider; Junior Rider, Youth Rider, Green Horse and Green Rider.
