Class 20 Shetland Pony Driven by a Junior Exhibitor To be shown as per Canadian Pony Society Rules Class 76 Pony or Horse Under Saddle – Ridden by a Junior Exhibitor To be shown under English Saddle, Open Bridle, Martingale optional.

To be shown at a flat walk, pleasure trot and road trot.

To be judged on suitability, manners, performance and quality.

Class 74 Junior Exhibitor Lead Line Rider 7 and under – open to all breeds Saddlebred Division: All animals to be purebred American Saddlebreds registered with the Canadian or US Saddlebred Association. Saddlebred – Breeding & Showmanship Classes Class 61 American Saddlebred Stallion, Mare or Gelding any age Shown on line Class 71 Junior ASHA Showmanship In Hand – 17 years and under Exhibitor is judged 50% on presentation of the horse and showmanship skills; 40% on grooming, conditioning and fitting the horse; 10% on appearance and grooming of the exhibitor. Saddlebred – Performance Classes: Five-Gaited – should possess beauty, brilliance, elegance and refinement but its energy should be directed toward speed in an animated form.

Entries shall be shown with a full mane and tail.

Qualifying gaits are animated walk, trot, slow gait, rack and canter. Class 55 Five-Gaited Classic CHAMPIONSHIP Judged 75% on manners, performance, presence and quality; 25% on total conformation. Three-Gaited Division – should be the epitome of beauty, brilliance, elegance, refinement and expression.

Its gaits are collected and its energy is directed towards animation and precision.

To be shown with roached mane and tail.

Horses are to be shown at an animated walk, park trot and canter. — Saddle Seat Equitation Division-(OEF Bronze Level Classes) Open to all breeds, appropriate apparel and appointments are required.

Riders must be an Ontario Equestrian Federation member to qualify for the OEF Saddle Seat Championship. (A $3 Drug Fee will be collected for each horse in these classes.) Class 5 Saddle Seat Equitation – rider 17 years of age and under Rider only to be judged on hands, seat and ability to ride.

Class 38 Saddlebred Classic Saddle Seat Equitation CHAMPIONSHIP To be eligible exhibitor must have entered, shown and been judged in the Saddle Seat Equitation – rider 17 years of age and under class.

Judge at a walk, trot and canter both ways of the ring.

THE FUTURITY ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO REMIND NOMINATORS OF PAYMENT DUE! MEMBERSHIP: Ontario Hackney Association membership fees are $15.00 for each adult and $5.00 for each Junior Exhibitor.

All Exhibitors entering the ring and showing in the Hackney Division must be a paid Member.

Road Horse Exhibitors must be members of the Canadian Road Horse Association Shetland Exhibitors must be paid members of the Canadian Pony Society.

Note all Shetland exhibitors who are not paid members of the society by the time of the show, will have the membership deducted from their prize money.

The ASHA Show Committee &/or the OHA reserves the right to add, combine, cancel or split classes as necessary.

The prize money for the Saddlebred Division will be mailed after the show to the exhibitors by the ASHA.

In the event of the ASHA Club not having sufficient funds to pay the prize money in full, the ASHA show committee reserves the right to deduct the necessary percentage.

All prize monies to be issued by appropriate breed divisions.

Attached liability form must be completed and signed by every exhibitor entering the ring.

Please take copies as necessary.

Exhibitor numbers will not be given out, without all monies paid in full and without signed liability waivers completed by all exhibitors within the stable.
