All entries must be shown in a bridle.

A minimum of two judges utilize the open numerical system to score competitors in the Classic Hunter Round (Round One) on performance, hunter pace, jumping style, quality and substance, and movement.
In addition, the base score in the Handy Hunter Round (Round Two) reflects brilliance of pace and handiness.
In each round, after the judges’ base score is given, one point will be added for each high option fence jumped without major fault, up to a maximum of four.
The Handy Hunter Round should simulate riding over hunt country and incorporate options such as tight turns, clever options for jump approaches, hand galloping and trotting a fence.
Fences are set at 3’ with four high option fences set at 3’5”.
The twelve highest scoring horse/rider combinations after Round One are eligible to return for Round Two.
The top eight horse/rider combinations are expected to ride for ribbons and prize money.
USHJA National Hunter Classics are open to any horse or pony registered with USHJA.
In order to receive Zone HOTY bonus points horses, ponies and owners must be actively recorded with USEF and registered with USHJA and riders must fill out the official USHJA Declaration Form in the horse show office.
Minimum of 10 Riders needed to hold the class.

Horses will return in reverse order of score for the second round.

Class 808 $2500 OPEN JUMPER CLASSIC Entry Fee – $150 Nominating Fee $50 Open to horses that have been entered, & judged in at least 1 Jumper Class at this show.
To be held at 1.30M , Table II, sec. 2a or 2b. 8 or less entries, class will be held as a 100% add back jackpot.
Ties for 1st place will be jumped off over a shortened course, ties for all other places will be decided by time taken.
Special award to first place rider, ribbons to 8th place, & prize money to 5th divided :30%, 25%, 20%, 15%,10% $1500 .95 M SPEED stake Open to all horses & ponies that have competed in at least 1 jumper class at this show.
Fence heights will be at .95 M (3’1”).
Table II.1. 8 or less entries, class will be held as a 100% add back jackpot.
