Whip – Any length may be carried. Saddlery Only plain saddles and bridles in black or brown. Numnahs – white, cream, navy blue or black. Bits – any normal riding bit is allowed for intro 2007 (Class 1 and 2) Only Snaffle bits are allowed in class 3. Bit Guards are not allowed. Martingales and bearing, side, check or running reins are not permitted.
Breastplates and cruppers are allowed. Boots and Bandages may be worn for riding in but must be removed for the test. (exception Equiboots) The full saddlery and Dress Rules 2010 (Dressage Phase) can be downloaded from the Pony Club Website. Cross Country – You will be required to wear both your Medical Armband and Body Protector.
Again the full dress rule can be downloaded from the PC Website. Don’t forget to take your hat and medical armband to the secretary’s tent to be checked when you declare and collect your number.
You will also need a £5 deposit. Hope this is useful.
